Pros

ATF is a rare instance of agency life done right. Despite the pressures and high stakes of client engagements, our team enjoys a strong work-life balance, generous benefits, and a supportive, healthy culture, from the top down. I came from an in-house position at a merchant, and actually found that my stress level went down! There are ample opportunities for everyone to learn new skills and grow their careers, without the pressure and toxicity that so often comes with that. Our huge growth potential, strong values, and creative thinking are balanced by responsible, measured leadership who listen to their employees and work hard to keep the company healthy.

Cons

ATF is still young, so we're still defining and refining our processes. While I see this as an opportunity for further personal development, it may not be for everyone. But, we can only go up from here!

Pros

A dedicated team as a family that will strive to make you feel welcome and prepared for the job. Ability to work with world-class experts in their field. Co-workers do not take work from others and pass it as their work. There are no "children" that work here. The entire company likes to see people grow and better themselves.

Cons

Time zones can be hard to work with, but that is something that cannot be helped with a team that spans the globe.

Pros

Having worked at many Digital Agencies, I know the typical minutia - good, bad & ugly. True to the company name, Above the Fray puts a conscious effort in being better than the typical agency - not only to clients, but also employees! I can't speak enough about the breath of fresh air working for ATF has been. If you prefer bullet points... - Upper MGMT genuinely listens to feedback and works to make processes more efficient - They understand that tech process/best practices is iterative and consistently strive to provide the best intel to clients and tools to employees to carry out work - The people you work with are a perfect balance of professional, supportive, easy going and fun; everyone hates the "we're a family" line in re: to workplace but it really is true to ATFs environment - Talent at ATF is top notch - They're conscious of workload; if resources are low, they will fix it and not just add more to your plate - The work/life balance is legitimate - Benefits are superb, they acknowledge paid holidays that I've literally never seen at any other company (world holidays, MLK day, birthdays etc.) That's just scratching the surface. As mentioned, I have worked for other agencies and have never been as happy to login everyday. Above the Fray is legitimately the bomb.

Cons

As a newer company, we do experience some of the inevitable growing pains like resource availability or workload, but again, upper mgmt will see it and address it. They are very much tuned into what's going on day2day. The only other "con" I've experienced is being available at later or earlier hours in the day if you need to get on a call with folks in different parts of the world. While I don't mind this, if you have strict work hours you may not like this. It is a remote position, so if you're accustomed to being in an office environment you may want to soul search before applying.
