Pros

Small tight knit team providing great salary and benefits. Get to work closely with our favorite bands and have the freedom of working for a boutique company!

Cons

Absolute Merch went through a large expansion from 2018-2021 and restructured in 2022 to its current form. Those years were difficult but worth it to see how great the company has come out on the other end.

Pros

Free merch, lots of social time, drugs, free food sometimes, the boss is never there so you kinda can do whatever whenever you want as long as your tasks get done

Cons

Where to begin? Starting there, I was confident this was going to be the perfect industry job. Upon arriving, one of my coworkers took a disliking to me immediately. Not a problem, not everyone has to like me. However, he/she (I won't disclose) made my everyday life at that job a nightmare. They were supposed to be training me, left me to figure out everything on my own, then would publicly humiliate me in the office for getting something wrong. Great person to work with right? I soon dreaded going into the office, and was RELIEVED when COVID hit and I could work from home. Soon, we had new coworkers, and I had new friends, so this person felt as if they could not harass me anymore. Flash forward a year, this person relentlessly stalked my social media from a burner account, and ended up getting me fired for freedom of speech. However, CA is an at-will state, so this person could have said I was breathing wrong, and they would have fired me. Management is very aware of this person causing issues, however does nothing to fix it, and if anything encourages it. I'm honestly shocked they're still in business. I'm convinced they're money laundering at this point. I wish the boss well, as he has a great heart and this is his passion. However, he made the mistake of hiring one bad apple, and it potentially will cost him more workers and eventually the business.
