Pros

Some people are nice there.

Cons

They make you do overtime past 8pm, only pay you $400 a week during training over a 5 day work week (Saturday’s too), and it’s commission based when you aren’t training. Pretty sure that’s illegal. They say customer service but your door to door sales all the time. No matter what position they post it’s sales.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your experience at Abstract Management Group. We appreciate your insights into both the positive aspects and the challenges you encountered. In response to your concerns about overtime, we'd like to clarify that our standard work weeks average 40-45 hours. We do provide the option for employees to work additional hours, as it aligns with individual goals and ambitions. Regarding compensation, we understand the importance of transparent communication. During the onboarding process, we explain our compensation structure, which includes a base pay plus commission or a strictly commission-based option. This approach is designed to ensure that our employees have the opportunity to earn a rewarding income based on their performance, rather than a fixed hourly wage. We take your feedback seriously and are committed to continuous improvement. If you have any further thoughts or would like to discuss your concerns in more detail, please feel free to reach out at hr@abstractmanagementgroup.ca. We value your input and wish you success in your future endeavors.

Pros

Nothing to provide that was positive there straight up snakes the worst possible job you can have while living in Canada in the winter time and will leave you hanging with your pasa

Cons

First things first completely messed up system how everything works. One the commissions are based on the installations so you will only get paid once it’s installed so you could be waiting for checks for a month or more meaning that your pay checks are not steady one bit even if you have a base. 2 the job is awful it’s self you have to walk around for hours during the cold winter knocking on doors while a lot of the customers are so rude and to top of the things they hire people who take no base and just commission people don’t get a base salary so they only get commissions and the owner everyday would get up in front of the office and try to explain why he doesn’t pay them a base by lying and making up how much you can make in a week from this which I can promise you it’s not true because of how long you have to wait for the installations sometimes. Worst work place and job. Dont bother even dropping a resume.
