Pros
Paid training, at least one free shirt, 20% discount, competitive pay (at the store I was at at least, with the promise of a .25 cent raise per hour after 90 days.) While this store does offer a credit card (which I'm sure will be pushed harder in the future) the location I was at did not force you to meet any goals. You were in fact not supposed to ask every customer to sign up because apparently referring someone with bad credit is to be avoided.
Cons
Spotty training, disorganized or over-worked middle management. General retail concerns like tedious and laborious work for a very small amount of money. Also, they can work you for 6 hours without a break, which they frequently attempt to. You can go to the bathroom or something if it's slow, however, any day I work I seem to go over my time because you need a team lead to cash you out and they are either too disorganized or preoccupied to try to get you out of there on time. Also, while the people I worked with seemed pretty nice over all, none of them seemed to like their job much, which could lower moral and promote apathy about work quality.
