Pros

Almost a couple years in now to working with Brad/Jon at Accelerate Agency and it's been a great and growing ride. I think one of the things you find out quickly is their commitment to grow an business that not only makes money for the bottomline of the company and it's employees but the desire to grow a company that has a positive impact on the industry in our city and beyond. One of the things you've often hear from Brad is his commitment to see us as employees meet our personal career goals. And then helps to point us in the direction to see that become a reality. Working here has continued to sharpen my skills and help remind me of what it takes to build something successful.

Cons

Honestly hard to find con's... It's a strong, forward moving type of company that's great to be a part of... the only con would be if you don't like to work hard... you may not want to apply to work here :)

Pros

I was an intern at Accelerate over the summer and I was shocked at how much I learned in just 3 months. At first I was unsure of what to expect working with a start-up company, but I would now recommend working with a small company like this to anyone. The first day I started Brad, the CEO, sat down with me and asked me for my ideas/thoughts/opinions. Considering I've exclusively worked in companies where the CEO's are too busy to acknowledge the interns, this was a very pleasant surprise. From that day forward, I gained confidence in my abilities and what I can bring to the table. I wasn't afraid to give my input and to work creatively throughout the summer because I knew the team here actually cared about my work as an intern. For anyone who is creative, driven, hungry for knowledge and development, and loves the hustle — I recommend working here. The company culture is inspiring, everyone is motivated and actually works together as a team. The team makes you feel like home and I left at the end of the summer feeling accomplished, and have grown as a young professional. Another huge pro: walking distance to fashion valley AKA lunch breaks were always a good time.

Cons

Can't think of anything.

Pros

no job will EVER be as bad compared to this

Cons

- the ceo will make you drive him around - the people that work there are the most passive aggressive and angry people I've ever met - you will be talked about constantly - employees will cry to you and then suck up to management - management all needs therapy - they have gone through so many people because you realize how fake it is after starting - ceo is rude and fake and SKETCHY - multiple people who worked there have privately told me they are miserable

Accelerate Digital Agency Response

Thanks for the review. This is Brad McCrory- the CEO. I'd like to take a moment to respond to this review. It's clear you did not have a great experience at Accelerate. I'm sorry that was the case and wish you would have reached out to me to discuss this. I can only work hard to ensure I'm more approachable moving forward so if there are concerns or frustration with an employee we can address that immediately instead of frustration bubbling up. I and Accelerate are far from perfect, however, we do a very good job of addressing issues as they come up. I will work to implement better systems of employee feedback and ensure I'm sitting down with each employee, one-on-one more often moving forward. To address some of your specific points... 1) There has not been a lot of people that have left Accelerate. There have been a small handful. 3 people over the course of a year to be exact. 2 full time employees and 1 part time contract employee. 2) I did ask employees to leave us a review on Glassdoor. I did not ask anyone to write a positive review, nor would I. In case you didn't notice. Employees, or general consumers typically only write reviews for businesses or experiences when they have a bad one. A Glassdoor account manager actually gave me the suggestion of asking for reviews. 3) I don't make people drive me around.. As you know, I uber everywhere and occasionally, when I attend a client meeting with a project manager I ride with them. 4) I do apologize if I ever came across rude in anyway. My personality is direct (Type A). I've never in managing over 200 people had anyone review me as rude. There wasn't any advice on the review for us. But I've listed some actions items within my points above.. 1) Work to foster more feedback at every level within the organization 2) Spend more one-on-one time with employees 3) More proactively involve employee feedback and better communicate organizational change as we grow
