Pros
No management breathing down your back. You use the companies vehicles and not your own.
Cons
What they teach you does not reflect on the field. I was told I was going to do a 10 hour shift and it came out to be 14 hours! They tell you that you're allowed a 30 min lunch and two 15 min brakes but that's just not possible if your on a tight deadline. You will literary be running from truck to front doors, it's extremely phisically demanding. The trucks they give you will turn off their engines after putting it on park so as to save gas. Truck will always be hot and will only cool down enough when driving very far which isn't a common thing since most adresses are nearby. Many drivers pee in bottles so save time on routes and sometimes make the vans smell bad. Any serious damage done to their trucks and you can see your whole paycheck gone just to pay for damages and that's if you're not fired first. The time crunch is so serious that you're almost forced to brake the speed limit or drive recklessly on neighborhoods and freeways. This job is the worse I've ever done and even I'm surprised how bad it was. You've been warned.
