Pros
There are a lot of excellent, hardworking and caring field clinicians. The want to provide good patient care. The individuals at various levels are polite but don't seem to connect as a whole. The benefits used to be good with a partial 401K match. things have changed
Cons
Frustrated by poor internal communication. Top heavy leadership completely out of touch with employee needs. I was with this company before AccentCare took over and that's when the downslide started. Productivity standards are difficult to meet because census is low for half the year and marketing is misdirected or absent. The electronic documentation system is archaic and makes charting take twice as long as it should, so my personal life after seeing patients has evaporated along with my energy. I have been doing home health over 20 years and this is an all time low. Benefit selections are worse and when you dip below productivity you lose benefits and are told retroactively. It happens frequently, leaving you high and dry. There is a lot of pressure to stretch yourself when the referrals do come in but little acknowledgement that a person can only stretch so far before breaking. The good supervisors don't last long within the chaotic, high stress demands of disorganization and office people being overworked/understaffed. raises are far and few between.
