Is this your company?

Poor management, painfully boring atmosphere, and arrogant and rude CEO. - Sales Associate Accredited Language Services Employee Review

Pros

Some of the co-workers are funny and charming. There's a lot of restaurants nearby.

Cons

Low pay, management is horrible at communicating issues or giving proper training and advice about how to perform, the general vibe is sheer misery and anxious boredom. Most people are either stuck there or want to get a new job soon. The CEO is arrogant, out of touch, and treats his employees like middle school students. He tries to sneak behind you to see what you are working on and has constant mood swings. He also likes to give one employee the job of three or four and will constantly try to cheap you out of overtime or other accommodations. Instead of a Christmas party they gave bought pizza and soda for the staff. My best advice is to work anywhere but here unless you are crazy desperate.

Pros

- Close to subway - Within walking distance of Century 21 - Across the street from a bar - Some of my coworkers are cool - Indoor plumbing - Has lights - Did I mention the bar?

Cons

Are you looking for a challenging position where you will be engaged on a daily basis? This ain't the place to find that. - Most of the positions here require no particular skills or talents (outside of the IT guys). - The pay is a joke. - You are treated like a child - the receptionist marks the time you come in and leave on an attendance sheet. - The managers are the managers because they seem to be the ones with the highest tolerance for pain (read: dealing with the CEO) and lasted the longest. - People leave constantly (there are job postings on Craigslist all the time). I'd go too if I got as lucky and found something better. - The CEO is a ridiculous micromanager. When playing musical chairs with people's desks is a priority, you need to reexamine.
