Pros

Great work-life balance if you’re a Corporate employee Good co-workers

Cons

I worked in the HR/MSA department & at first things were going well until they promoted someone from operations to be in charge of the recruiters. This person has no clue how to even recruit let alone be in charge of recruiters. This person also has poor communication skills, you can barely get ahold of the manager. He will not defend you, he only cares about himself. This person always asked me basic questions on how to recruit. Trying to recruit for customer service positions was tough to do during the pandemic, the pay for these employees were downright unfair & laughable. They only provide you with one or two job boards & they expect you to find people through the local workforce & disability programs but in reality they never want to hire those kind of people. The EVP of the department, she’s very two-face. She will pretend to tell everyone that you’re a doing a great job but in reality she’s talking trash about you behind your back. Some of the MSA’s told me that she makes them cried everyday, she leads her team with an iron fist. If you make mistakes even the tiniest she will make sure that you know that you had screwed up. In my 1 year there, 5 recruiters have come & go. Some were fired for no reason & some just quite frankly hated the job. If you love sucking up to her or if you’re comfortable with her berating & making you feel less of a person on a daily basis then kudos to you. The EVP is too prideful to hire a real recruiting manager because they don’t want to find someone who’s knowledgeable & skilled in recruiting. I worked closely with 3 Regional Directors & 2 of them were most deceiving & cutthroat people that I’ve ever worked with. They will showered you with endless praises to the executives & your bosses but when they don’t get what they want. They will backstab you in a heartbeat & ridicule you in your face. Both of the Regional Directors had incompetent managers but they also had some loyal ones as well. I got in trouble for not finding employees for special events but in reality the manager in charge clearly didn’t cared about his job. Trying to find people who wants to work one or two times a month for $12/hourly is a joke, most of them can’t even passed their backgrounds. The Executive Regionals only cares about expanding & adding more businesses but they don’t understand that finding new hires for cheap won’t get them anywhere.
