Pros

Citing the pros, Acentra provides remote work setup for Indian Employees. One of the major pros is their Health Insurance package and their Insurance partner plum . 10 lakhs Health insurance which includes parents and 50 k per year Health wallet where you can claim your OP and Health purchases. Special Kudos to Plum team. You are doing a great work.

Cons

Now comming to cons. 1) Acentra treats employees like school children. I worked in a team, where people are supposed to be in a call for 8hrs. If we are going to lunch , we need to mention in chat ' lunch break', when you come back you need to mention 'back'. Such kind of worthless process. Having worked in 3 member startup to witch to big 4. Never I have seen such pathetic process 2)Time sheet : They map time sheet to Jira, even a min is tracked. 3) Poor support from on site team. Onsite team never heeds their ear to any of Indian employees suggestion even if its valid. And we are expected not to confront them. 4) I worked under a very gentle manager, he was pressurised so much by leadership and it affected the team overall. 5) Employees fear losing their job always. Everyone I talk to , express fear about losing their job. 6) Atrezzo is the only product they have , so you cannot switch to another product if you want. 7) No team activities. HR team thinks teams meeting is enough for bonding. Its a big NO.

Pros

Supervisors are good at placating employees

Cons

For a mental health company, it is dangerous to force employees to work while sick and incapacitated because how can someone appropriately deal with suicidal clients when they are sick and not able to think clearly? No matter how good or bad your reviews are everyone gets the exact same merit based salary increase. Worst absence point system of any corporation I have ever seen. 2 points PER DAY for absences that are not pre-planned and approved. Meaning if you get sick and are in the hospital for 5 days with a doctors note you will still be placed on a final notice because you didn't request that week off more than 2 weeks in advance. Even if you have weeks of PTO saved up because you are normally dependable.
