Poor work/life balance. It was an expectation that laptops were to be taken on holidays and always open - even on stat holidays.
Toxic management - people were punished for sick days or a leave. The COO would call the employee and ask invasive personal questions the following day. The CEO and staff would tell lies to clients about previous brokers who had left “they were terminally ill” or “they got out of the industry.” A letter was sent out to all clients when a broker left - making it appear as if they were fired even when they simply left for a new job.
Money missing from paycheques with no explanation why.
