Pros
I like my coworkers that weren’t management. Very flexible scheduling only reason I stayed through high school and college. Learn multiple departments. Gives a lot of breaks.
Cons
New contract hurts anyone who isn’t a new employee I worked over 3,000 hour and they said I only deserved to get credit for 1,000 because that’s what my horrible pay equals to instead of giving me a raise for the actual amount of hours I have worked. Since it’s union you have a lot of workers who simply refuse to actually do there job. No employee discount. Toxic work environment you just feel depressed as soon as you walk in the door. Offered “hazard pay” and after working multiple months in the pandemic over 30 hours a week they thought I only deserved $11 and that was my total hazard pay for over a year in the pandemic that’s all I got really and it was a one time only payment that was made to my check one week I didn’t even notice till another employee was telling me they only got $14 for working the whole pandemic and I went back and looked and I was shocked that’s how you treat your employees risking there safety to make sure people still have food during these challenging times it’s disgusting the way corporate treats employees.
