Pros

Other developers at the company were friendly.

Cons

I received an offer to intern in November with a plan on starting in late May when school was out for the summer. After receiving the initial offer (which didn't mention whether the position was paid or any job duties) I didn't hear from them for approximately five months. During this period I attempted to contact the hiring manager multiple times to discuss languages or other aspects of the job that I could research and educate myself on prior to starting. There was no plan in place for an intern, I wasn't expected to have my hand held but at least have some sort of framework in place. They honestly had no use for me and the few projects I was given, I was under-qualified for due to lack of experience with the type of coding they were looking for. This all could have been fixed with some communication prior to my start date. To top it all off the owner (Terry Suby) of this company is completely unprofessional and even went to the point of saying "You may want to consider changing fields if this is how you will be going forward" during an angry tirade. I would never advise anyone to work under his management.

Pros

I’ve experienced bad Management in the past, but AcuStaf is very different. It’s great to have people above you that genuinely care about you and want to see you succeed!

Cons

I haven’t experienced any in my time here!

Pros

Fully remote and company invests in good software tools for employees

Cons

Small company equates to minimal growth/upward mobility, team and managers micromanage, middle school like culture, product offered to customers is archaic
