      Pros

      Awesome opportunities to work on truly impactful research projects in the policy/healthcare space. The work you do feels meaningful, and not strictly profit driven as is the case in most companies. Get to work with some very smart and hardworking people.

      Cons

      Large influx of new projects, many of which feel understaffed. The company has tried to mitigate this problem by hiring new analysts, but this can sometimes exacerbate the problem instead since many new hires come straight out of university and need months of training. As a result, senior analysts/managers take on the brunt of the work and often put in long hours.

      Pros

      - The work is intellectually engaging and gave me many chances to grow technically. - I learned a lot from talented coworkers and appreciated being part of projects with real-world relevance. - There was also good exposure to translating technical work into clear, usable takeaways.

      Cons

      - The work can be intense and detail-heavy, and deadlines can sometimes feel demanding. - Priorities may shift quickly, which can make it hard to plan ahead. - At times, the volume of revisions and fast pace can be stressful.
