Pros

Great, smart, highly qualified and passionate people from all over the world. Very inspiring environment and product. Fantastic view on the Berliner Dom. Bright and spacious office. Relaxed daily work atmosphere. One month salary when you get fired.

Cons

Watch out. You might get hired and fired again, among with about 35 other people, because what you are hired for was finally not needed. Ada Health has a great vision, but its appalling lack of sustainable business model makes it not worth wasting any time. The business is completely dependent on external investors and still, they massively hired in December and January, to massively fire in February. The logic behind it remains fully mysterious and hidden to the employees. Global health mission is a great purpose, but questionable when it comes from a company where there's no care of their own employees' well-being. It's one thing to have no business plan, but the communication is shockingly bad. The direction spent three weeks trying to last minute save the situation without notifying the managers, heads and leads, letting everybody fear for their jobs and not answering any of the questions they encouraged to ask. In the best scenario, you get fired and your manager will have heard about it two days ago, or even just the same morning, in an emergency meeting. But in the worst scenario, you will be the one telling your team lead and your manager that you're about to get fired, because you finally got an invite without object to a meeting with a HR person and a boss. Oh, and don't expect to be fired on your own, you might get laid off with three other people. Isn't it more effective that way? Oh. I forgot to mention that you shouldn't expect to be spared if you are sick. Don't try to escape the fun! In the worse, worse scenario, you'll get fired on a sick leave. An Ada-phone call that will help you to stay healthy. Don't come back! But, overall, you should be happy if you at least had a guess that you might get fired. Because the ultimate is when you had absolutely no idea you would get fired and realize you are, and have to leave the office within the next hour. Luckily, since Ada is efficient and uses agile methods, in half an hour you'll be out of the system and your accounts will be deactivated. Try and see! Join Ada.
