Pros
The vision of healthcare impact is solid and meaningful. The coworkers are generally really cool people, but it is dependent on individual teams & departments leadership.
Cons
Senior leadership has been faltering into unprofessional behavior and attitude at company meetings when given feedback about recent pivots and the layoff of 12% (100+ people) from the company. Business decisions can be difficult, but the lack of foresight into the layoff of certain personnel (and the impact/fallout to the company of those people being let go) indicated potentially poor judgement in our senior leadership team. The pay is middle to low end. If you identify or present as a woman you may find your pay is not on par with your male peers. HR does not address issues in a timely manner. They frequently ignore or try to push down issues with pay, harassment, and other issues until legal requirements or attorneys are mentioned. In general the company does not take feedback well, leadership is not transparent or communicative, decisions are often switched up midexecution and there's so much turnover in the project leads for initiatives that create unneeded confusion and delays, resource burdens.
