      Consulting Business During COVID - Principal Packaging Engineer Adept Packaging Employee Review

      Pros

      Adept has been very accommodating for me and has given me a great deal of autonomy to develop a business model that is based upon a non asset based service provider. Which means that we make recommendations to customers for the best solution for their problem. Not the solution that we sell. This has been challenging, but Adept Management has embraced the concept and has been 100% supportive. Working from home is always such a blessing. 401K and benefits haven’t changed for me - still great.

      Cons

      Uncertainty in the marketplace from COVID and current events. Always kind of scary when you’re a consultant. When you’ve got active projects to bill against, life is good! When you’re “between”, things are more uncertain and stressful.

      Pros

      I liked the opportunity to work with a big CPG as a Contractor, it allowed me to develop my skills as a packaging engineer as well as get to know a lot of different colleagues. The support from the Account manager is good and they want you to succeed not just for them but for yourself as well.

      Cons

      The contract renewals aren't discussed extensively and sometimes there is a lack of communication.

      Great minority owned and lead company with excellent benefits. Wide range of opportunities and company caters jobs to your experience and strengths

      Cons

      Really not much in terms of cons unless you don’t like working remotely
