Pros
Some staff value collaboration and professionalism.
Cons
Management and owner were involved in gossip and conspiracy (grilling supervisors asking why employees called out sick, asking about personal lives and offering speculations about personal matters, discussing these matters with other employees to encourage collusion, etc) and encouraged employees to participate in such unprofessionalism in order to keep in good standing. Management had regular emotional breakdowns on the production floor and then locked themselves in their office for hours only to emerge angry and dismissive when faced with issues or decisions. Owner agreed with managements behavior when issues were brought up. No benefits and no indication that employees were valued. Employees were reminded constantly that they were replaceable. Multiple lawsuits regarding harassment and unsafe work environment. Two weeks notices were not honored as staff were often let go the day after notice was given. In some cases, supervisors were asked to "get as much info/training as possible so we can dismiss the employee as soon as possible".
