Manufacturing job, but turned out better than I expected. Tidy production areas and reliable equipment. Hard-working and professional teammates. Learning quite a bit about printing operations.
Cons
Must always be alert because you're operating machinery
I am a student at Clemson University. This company gave me an opportunity to work for 15 weeks as a paid intern. During my time with Advanced Labelworx I was allowed to work directly with the customers. I was not treated like an intern. Working for this company compared to my first internship was night and day. I did the work and was treated like a full time employee.
Cons
The pay for the internship was not as much as other internships offered but the experience was way better than anything I have personally experienced. I was involved in the meetings which sometimes felt intense. It was scary for me at first because I had never worked in a large company before. I quickly learned that work and especially sales is serious and intense.
