Pros

I have worked at ASD for 14 years. ASD truly cares about its customers and its employees. There are great benefits including health insurance, vision, dental, 401k with matching. The President/CEO is terrific. He truly cares about all of us. He pays for tuition and certifications. While some complain about high health costs, in this Low Price Technically Acceptable procurement environment, it makes all contractors bid low in order to win work. That was caused by the Government, not ASD. We are coming out of that now, so hopefully it will improve. ASD has an outstanding reputation now in the Pentagon with the Joint Staff and the Joint Service Provider with great past performance ratings. ASD has achieved a great deal in the last 3 years to include ISO 9001, 20000, and 27001 certifications as well as CPSR certification.

Cons

I don't have any Cons to report.

Pros

Caring President, who truly wants the company and its people to be successful. Some who haven't left are trying to keep that warm "family feel" of a small/mid business.

Cons

Untrustworthy HR (nuff said). Senior management who arrived in recent years haven't a clue how to direct a thriving business, but are merely doing the best they know to do (which isn't enough). The "old guard" of 10-25 year savvy veterans are all but gone, having been replaced by a far less capable bunch of managers, who are all clamoring to please the president, rather than to grow a backbone and drive the company in positive directions. Company is on a slow downhill spiral, and when it ends, all the senior management will still not have a clue they were the cause for ASD's demise.
