Pros
This is a good place to learn a lot of different things quickly. Since the company is a managed service provider, you’ll work on everything from desktop computers to telephones. Most of the engineers and technicians are great to work with. There are some very intelligent people working here who you can learn a great deal from. As a single person, benefits were decent.
Cons
The environment can be stressful and unprofessional, especially when dealing with the owners. They are brothers who often disagree on how things should be done. There would be many project meetings when they would argue and curse at each other in front of employees. There was a running joke in the office about being caught between them like a “sandwich”. Most employees seemed unimportant to management, and the owners seemed to take things personally. I saw multiple people give a proper 2 weeks’ notice and be let go the same day. The owners and most of upper management felt like a clique. There was regular overtime without extra pay, especially close to project deadlines. On call rotation could be rough at times. Pay was low, even for the area.
