Pros
1- Colleagues and environment is very friendly. 2- Travel if you are ONLY lucky. 3- Work from home. 4- There was once an open door policy, not anymore.
Cons
This company is nothing but an image, do not be fooled by the positive reviews, the management actually told the employees to write those positive stuff and share on Facebook these photos with the hashtag. 1- Management is lost in vision, they do not know what they want to do, or what will work on, there is no company's vision. 2- The turn over rate is extremely high, the surprise is its in the management level. 3- Team leaders do whatever they want to do, they choose who travels and who does not, its how close you are to the team leader. 4- Not a single employee is measured with his KPI correctly, no one knows if you work hard or not, they will only know when you share a facebook post after working hours. 5- It is how silver your tongue is, will get you everywhere, you might also get a raise from that. 6- There is not technical learning in this company, the same thing is being done for more than 4 years, and the funny thing is its only drag some lines on the AutoCAD but many layouts that is all the stress. 7- Employees in this company only work there because of chances of travel which will get you some good money from that. 8- The HR department is only good when you are too friendly with them and act as if everything they do is the right thing, other than that, zero ethics, which is the prime point of the HR department. I remember once they deducted a colleague's salary for 2 month because he shared part of a company's email that does not show it belongs to Advansys. 9- Team leaders and department managers will always forget you worked hard for something, you will be unappreciated, undermined, not even a thank you, and if you talk about it, they tell you that is what's expected to do. The whole new achiever and top performer stuff you see on facebook is just trying to save some of the spilled milk. 10- Since the company has the right to change policy as much as they can, they always change it to what does not suit the employees, maybe like decrease number of work from home days or cancel them, decrease travel per diem, yes that actually happened. 11- If you go to the RPA department, they will make you sign a contract to pay 3 month salary if you quite the company, and also do not work for this same RPA in different company, the reason they state is because you taught you everything and company's security, the funny thing, it is all self learning, and there is no information to give to other competition. 12- I know about some team-leader that his team kept reporting his performance work wise and communication wise for 3 years, and the management did not do anything about it, this team-leader caused the company to fire one of the best employees in this company. 13- Advansys will not and never did invest in an employee. All of these are from my own experience, I might be wrong, so get your reviews from different sources, I only worked in two departments.
