Pros
While here I have received excellent (and free) clinical superivision, training (free) in evidence-based practices, enough CEUs each year to maintain my credentials, and the ability to serve the most courageous clients. It is an honor to walk alongside them as they thrive. I've had oppportunities to learn and grow and be promoted here. The salary is much more competitive than when I started, and the benefits are excellent;
Cons
Like any part of social services, it's hard when there are not enough resources in the community.
