Pros

Company sends you all expense tradeshows to help you generate warm leads! Company stays at the host hotels and they have sent me to Vegas, Orlando, Seattle, NY City, Los Angeles and even on a Tradeshow on hosted on a five-night Royal Caribbean Cruise ship! I have direct access to the CEO and he is all in to do anything he can to help me close deals! When deals are closed they are celebrated by the entire company with Gongs and by putting pins in the map. Solution represented has no strong competitors and the solution is so fantastic that our clients love us which you can see on the company website with over 75 client interviews. Company also does webinars monthly to generate even more leads which are given to me based on the States I am assigned. Company has also provided me a Zoom info subscription. All RFPs are handled by our sales Assistant. The ADG Project manager and Client success team takes care of the clients after the order is celebrated to free me up to go back and find more opportunities. I get a nice percent of the gross sale and they have lots of contests where I can win more days off, bonus money or a trip to anywhere I want to go.

Cons

Company would like me to make at least 40 outbound calls per day on days where I have no demos scheduled.

Pros

A nice perk of the sales role is that you are given your own private office. You get to go to business conventions.

Cons

This is a poor company to work for as essentially a telesales rep. The CEO, who's responsible for sales, is very difficult to work for. He treats his sales people like little children. Expect to have him review your work and expect that review to be painful to go through. The compensation plan is a significant drawback. Commissions are not paid when the sale is closed, but only after the company receives payment from the client. This can lead to unpredictable and substantial delays in receiving your earnings. Furthermore, if you resign, you forfeit any pending commissions that have not yet been paid out. Also, the health insurance is very poor.
