Pros

Amazing people, learning fundamental skills, good way to secure your first job in recruiting.

Cons

OH where to even begin. This company is truly a dumpster fire and a new grad sweat shop with literally zero structure and extremely high turnover. In 2022, the company was doing well along with the market so they hired 15+ people a month all year with no management or management training to support the massive influx of new people. The entire management team consisted of people that were strong recruiters who were promoted in less than a year then asked to lead teams with little to no guidance. Once the market went downhill in 2023, so did Advantis and they have not been able to recover financially. There were quarterly layoffs, cutting anniversary gifts, cutting the Christmas party and not saying a word about it, cutting recruiting resources that were 'too expensive' which then made it harder to produce, then taking all the top producers to Cabo just to lay several of them off a month later. It really goes to show that they do not value you; if you are going through a rut, they WILL put you on a brief PIP that's nearly impossible to attain then fire you quickly to save themselves money. Not to mention, they also threw an ungodly expensive 5 year anniversary party so they look good on social media, but are laying people off in the meantime. It has also been amazing to open LinkedIn to see them recreating the positions they cut earlier this year to save money. At the time, they thought the positions weren't necessary, only to overwhelm the people that stayed and learn that they do need those positions. To top if all off, the company also took away loyalty bonuses from travelers but still made sure to take a piece of the pie so they didn't go out of business. Advantis required all of management and even some people that moved to different positions that had recruiting experience to come back into production to "keep the lights on," all while managing teams and/or accounts. As the company became less profitable, the toxicity became worse. I used to love coming to work, and I ended up crying to and from the office every day. Management was REQUIRING recruiters to work until 7:30pm and on the weekends if they didn't hit these insane metrics each week, but once people started leaving left and right and their company became extremely small again, they quit requiring it to help the culture. In present day, the company has taken away everyone's one remote day except for their favorites/top producers, and shortened lunches to 30 minutes. I believe this is illegal given that we work 60+ hours a week, but "all hands on deck" I guess. Additionally, the top recruiters are on special lead teams, making it easier for them to stay on top. The managers and President of this company create the toxicity from the top down, but then blame it on the recruiters because they are "gossiping." And the best part of all of this is… the pay was cut 40% to "match industry standards," but let's be real. Other companies that have the commission structure that AMED adopted has MUCH more support, great recruiting resources, higher base salaries, and affordable benefits. How could this company ever ethically ask people to work this hard AND cut their money? Oh, and the amount of money the people at the top make is COMICAL, especially when they are running this place into the ground. The people here are miserable and they only stay because their peers are incredible. I truly have no idea how this company keeps winning awards when they are sinking and treating people the way they do. Looking at the company's social media, you would never know this is happening behind the scenes. This company is a nicely polished turd that's about to flush down the drain. Y'all go ahead and screenshot this now before they big bucks THEY DO NOT HAVE to take it down.

Pros

There’s nothing good about this company

Cons

Please make sure to work else where. You will have no life, work weekends (almost all weekends), come in the office everyday, commission is a joke. Turn over is insane. Never seen anything like it. Please do yourself a favor and stay far far away.
