Pros
Managers are very nice and laid back. The "we're a family" vibe Pays well
Cons
Very small rural community with small minds to match. You'll wear just about every hat because it's constantly short staffed. They will set you up to fail. They're more worried about their image than they are providing safe staffing and quality care. The doctors and some nurses have asked the most ridiculous questions that honestly make me fear for patients being cared for by these people. They love their little cliques, gossip, and drama. The rules that apply to the clique won't apply to you. They say and act like they value your input, but then do nothing with it. If the clique wants you out, they'll find ways to get you out, even if that means reporting you to HR for the very things they do themselves. Have overheard a lot of judgmental, racial, and homophobic/transphobic comments. Been verbally intimidated, threatened, and abused by coworkers. Should have quit then after seeing how unprofessional the place was, and they still kept the "clique" employee.
