Pros

Great technology platform. huge volume and traffic that challenges software developers to think differently to provide solutions

Cons

horrible new recruits.. very poor technology knowledge,, worst yet, they are incapable of learning anything new... in addition all the good people have already left .. huge warning.. .. their tech team is comprised of 3 directors, 2 managers and 2 developers... so you can imagine the newly joining developers plight..

Pros

Family kind of close environment. Owners of the company are very good people and take care of employees going above and beyond for the employees. CEO is very smart and active and down to earth as well. People who work here are smart / average but no poor performer will survive longer. - Being a small company, pay is slightly above market to retain talent - Free weekly massages on premise - Free Gym membership - Good Health, Vision, Dental plans - Free weekly lunches - Paid Vacation - Free light snacks, coffee and soft drinks - Fast paced dynamic environment - Good internal Communication - As long as the person keeps performing, he/she has nothing to worry about. If performance is going down, sufficient hints and indications are provided before firing the employee.

Cons

- On the tech side, need to have strong technical architects who can bring more ideas and new technologies. - there is no formal appreciation process like awards and certificates - no work from home allowed / very rarely allowed - Focus is only on revenue growth, any efficiency improvement / cost saving efforts go mostly un-noticed. - Work desks are small - competition in the industry is really tough and for smaller companies it demands more innovation and investment which is on the lower side here.
