Aeroflow makes a lot of promises of upward mobility and success, but the reality is that the company is not in the position to pay their employees adequately, and although it is growing, promotions are reserved for a narrow demographic (read: white, middle-aged men). Deeply rooted misogyny and racism among the upper management and executive team is ever-present and frequently overlooked by people who should know better.
It didn't take long for me to realize that I was not valued as an individual and that if I expressed an opinion that dissented from the company's agenda (profits over patients/employees) I was going to be reprimanded one way or another.
