Pros

High talented, creative and very nice employees Employees that are very engaged and motivate others Healthcare, free fruits Some very talented leads and directors Many events to participate and chances network Employees are the biggest plus, many very really good in motivating people and keeping a sense of belonging and community. Designers who asked everyone on opinions, boardgame nights, artists decorating office space with maps and concept art, pen and paper groups. People were communicating and helping out each other.

Cons

Extremely toxic behaviour of the CEO and some directors, especially towards artists, project managers and designers. Unnecessary conflicts with directors and CEO led to rework, overtime and confusion these conflicts are mostly based on gut feeling and subjectivity not on strategic and calculated decisions. Many last minute decisions. Not many chances to grow within company, no possibility to work on game projects, some employees are stuck with non-game projects. Mismanagement and poor communication lead to a lot of crunch and underwhelming performance. Clear signs of nepotism. Complete overestimation of the own skills of CEO/company shareholders / lack of self reflection. Possible violation of employment law in several different cases. Questionable moments of employees getting laid off. A sense of mistrust was always in the air.

Decent portfolio with a dedicated community and German financial support.

Cons

Below-market wages for senior executives with 20+ years of experience within the industry. The company reeks of nepotism with a subpar CHRO.
