Pros

Since I've started at the agency, you can tell that Affect really cares and values their employees, and their company culture is top-notch. They really want to support and help employees learn and grow while at the agency, providing many helpful professional development sessions led by both members of the internal team and outside professionals. It is a place where I feel comfortable going to almost anyone on the team to ask a question or seek their guidance. In addition to many company benefits like summer Fridays, team get-togethers, and 2 PTO days for volunteering, Affect has an extremely supportive environment and is truly a great place to work.

Cons

If you aren't well-versed in certain fields - it may take some learning and getting used to their client roster. But the entire team is extremely supportive in providing helpful background and ways to learn about the industries where their clients are if you haven't had much experience in the healthcare, technology, and professional services fields.

Pros

Affect is a great place to work! Overall I loved my time here. I have worked for a few other PR agencies both before and after my time at Affect, and Affect has been my favorite experience overall. I felt that the management was always really invested in me and my success. The company provided a lot of opportunities for learning and opportunities to showcase my strengths. Affect had a great balance between work and fun in the office. While I was there, we had many office parties, team outings, charity projects and other fun events to socialize with colleagues. I also felt the management / team structure was more organized here than any other firm I've worked for. Affect expects good work from its employees, which I have really appreciated because it helped motivate me to do my best and not settle for anything less. Attention to detail is really enforced here. I also really felt that the company cared about me as a person, and respected my family commitments and provided a nice work-life balance.

Cons

Honestly not many cons here. I seriously loved working for Affect. But If I had to say, there were times where I felt we were short-staffed and times I felt a bit micro-managed, but that was rare.
