Pros

I really loved working at Affinity! I worked one-on-one with children with autism in their homes and it was incredibly rewarding. The company treats you well and is very flexible with your individual needs. They pay really well for this position in Utah and are willing to help out with whatever you need in order to help the families you work with.

Cons

They don't reimburse you for miles or drive time, and you have to drive out to client's homes (which can range from close to relatively far.)

Pros

The clients are amazing to work with. Coworkers are also wonderful. You're surrounded by people who care about the work that you're doing. There's a lot of opportunity for advancement.

Cons

It's not a job very conducive to work/life balance. The hours can be pretty long, and the work (while super rewarding) takes a lot out of you. Also, if you don't finish your session notes while at the clinic, you'll have to do them at home. You can only bill for that at the clinic, and even then, only for 30 minutes. I've ended up doing a lot of unpaid work.
