Pros
I decided to move forward with Aflac because it offered many of the things I was looking for in my new career. I wanted flexibility to control my schedule while having the ability to make a great income. It was also very important that there was opportunity for growth within the organization. I am very self-motivated and wanted to be rewarded for that effort. The fact that there was very little out of pocket start up cost was very appealing.
Cons
It was a little scary starting a straight commission career without any real knowledge of the insurance industry. My trainer was farther away than I would have liked and that made training a little tougher.
