Pros

Potential to earn; I would recommend part time before going full time to have some money saved up. It may take a while to build a portfolio of clients

Cons

All commissions, no indoor sales, lots of rejection from uninterested customers. Long hours, lots of calling random people hoping to make a sale , lots of rescheduling because people forget or are not interested

Pros

Freedom to be your own boss, trips, bonuses, renewable income (instead of one time commission), career instead of just a job. FORTUNE 500 and a World's most Ethical Company. Great training (at least here in Wyoming) and a family mentality. Great family/work balance.

Cons

No base pay, can be a slow start at first, you have to be very organized and self-driven, have to be licensed in life and health to sell insurance (but my management help with the process).
