Great manager, low stress, learn something new every day and troubleshoot faults in the plant.
Cons
No upward mobility, if you learn to operate both glycerin and oil, you only get a marginal pay bump of a couple dollars an hour extra, this will take a year plus to master. No shift differential for nights and/or weekends Long shifts, 12 hour days and not enough operators.
