Pros

Not much to highlight. However, if you're a self-learner, you might find opportunities to explore and grow on your own.

Cons

Lack of effective management and long-term vision. There is no structured planning to achieve goals. Employee contributions are undervalued, and recognition is lacking. Instead of fostering a positive work culture, management resorts to unprofessional behavior during performance evaluations. Despite hard work, recognition is minimal, and the reward system is demotivating. The overall work environment lacks appreciation and professionalism.

Pros

Can't think of anything positive, their employees leave ater a year. They seem to always hire brand new teams every single year.

Cons

Where do I start? They changed their name from Transparency Wise to AgWise, which is a better name than WiseUpFood. They change their company name so often, so it is diffucult to keep track on what compnay you actually work for. Their CEO, Sarah Martello, and Co-Founder Bill seem to be nice respectful people at first sight, but eventually after some time you start to see how they talk to their develpment team in India, and its quite an eye opening experience. They are absolutely disrespectful towards their team, very unporfesional, and quite literally racsit behind their back. Initially before employment, your being promised everything. "We will train you to succeed outside of just here..." But in reality, you are being micromanaged by the Director of Product Development every single day. You have no creative freedom to think of solutions or help in any way to further the companies business model. The two Co-Founders of TransparencyWise (formerly known as WiseUpFood), have very fake personalities. Initially they are nice to you and want to help you acclimate in your first week, but then after your pretty much left alone having to deal with your supervisor, who is also the person in charge of product development. Your supervisor has their hands in every single aspect of the company where there is no way of growing into a more opportunistic role. The company is not organized at all, your in luck if you get paid on time, since the CEO only pays by Zelle or Check for interns and new employees. Overall the work environment is very toxic, you never quite know how the day is going to go. Either it will be a great day, or a super awful depressing day. It all depends on your supervisors mood. Your supervisors mood can change in matter of seconds, and thats how your day will be determined. I would recommend to stay as an intern for 2 - 3 months, but do not sign an employment agreement, unless you know how to deal with Narcissistic people. One other thing is that the Co Founders and Director of Product Development are not culture inclusive in any way. There are moments of Racism
