Cons
I can confidently say in the US they do not respect women at any level. In the past 8 months they have fired all but one of the US female leaders - HR, IT, marketing and internal communications. I worry for the future women trying to get to leadership positions. Diversity is a buzzword only. They make all managers place their direct reports into low performing categories even if they are high performers. You are not allowed to have all high performing or even acceptable performance. You are required to place a portion of your direct reports into lower categories (9 block). Bad business management. So you can be a great employee and not get a good raise because your manager had to put someone in that box. Canadian management of theUS business is unfortunate. Micromanaging in a market and customers they were not engaged with. Low pay in comparison The culture and values they externally promote is all marketing. No employee thinks the culture is what they promote it as. It’s almost comical.
