Pros

There are no pros unfortunately

Cons

Waited months to get paid, training was suppose to be a month and it kept getting delayed over a 4 month time period and we weren’t paid until the end. A class before did a month of training for it not to count and never was paid for the time being there. A lot of verbal promises are made but none are followed through with. There’s is a lack of care for the employees and it’s just a startup with one aircraft that hasn’t begun flying yet. I feel that says a lot about the company itself.

Pros

There was not a single pro to working at Airbahn besides the fact I received a paycheck and even that wasn't on time occasionally.

Cons

Where to begin.. The owner owns another airline in Pakistan as well as a few tech based companies - all of which are located in the same space that airbahn was, Irvine. In my opinion, airbahn was never his main objective. He refused to hire people to fill positions in departments to get work done in order to move further along in the 5 phase process. He has another airline so he has the assets. It seemed sketchy and so did he. He never made eye contact or said hello passing in the hall. He was always cold and short in his tone and expression. The work environment was terrible, the morale was always low. The training programs were an absolute mess and shouldn't have ever been used to the extent they were. I could find a job at McDonalds with better management and leadership than this airline was putting forth. the "HR" department was weirdly over-bearing. When I say department I mean 1 woman. She and the owner have been working together for 30+ years apparently on the 3 other companies located in Irvine. She had a say in every little decision in every department and it was incredibly odd. I Honestly don't understand how this company lasted for as long as it did. There were a lot of great people from a lot of great airlines working together and we could have built something great, but the upper leadership decided otherwise and willingly chose to fail, which brings me back to my belief that airbahn was not their main goal. Something sketchy was and probably is still going on.
