If you want to experience what it would have been like to work in a factory in the 80's, you've come to the right place... Lets start; Low salaries across the company (lower than market rate), expected to work long hours, no overtime, no bonuses, no TOIL, no WFH, hybrid or remote working, no flexitime, no sick pay, cold office as the central heating is used sparingly to save money, you get the picture... Outside of these issues, you have the biggest problem, management. Management have that outdated style of focussing on how things get done, rather than the results. This manifests in criticisms over the most minutia of detail, when in reality, criticism on this level is not healthy for anyone. Management will often lament employees for above and emphasise that this is what is costing the business money and place the burden of the business' financial performance on the employee, yet senior management does very little in the way of business planning themselves, hypocrisy at its finest. This often leads constant changing priorities for the employee with no rational behind them.
