Goals are similar to what they were 10 years ago even though the job is completely different than what it used to be. Management has no authority over their people, no one enforces anything, when and how they choose to "discipline" people is very inconsistent. The leaders aren't leaders. There is no encouragement or positivity. Everything is negative from the top down. Most of the work is put on the few people that actually do their job and know how to do it well. That includes managers. They are already busting their tails to get their own crap done but when someone else slacks, they have to help pick up the pieces because there are only a few that actually care enough about their jobs and actually have the competency to know how to fix it....
Culture and environment is lowest of the low. There really isn't much to say about the culture. There really isn't much of one at all. In regards to the environment, It is toxic. The rumors, drama, and negativity is worse than a high school. The more people you talk to the lower your own morale will get. There is zero room for advancement unless you already know people on the outside and have it guaranteed to you.
