Pros
Airvana is a great place to work. I’ve been with the company for many years, cultivated great working relationships with most of the employees and formed friendships I’ll take with me after I leave. The work is challenging, the benefits are excellent and the salary is very fair. In recent years Airvana has gone out of their way to engage employees in creative ways that make coming to work a pleasure. I’ve honestly said many times, “Airvana will be the best job I’ll ever have”. The employees, the culture, it truly is a great place to work.
Cons
Equity. Don’t expect a huge stock payday. Airvana is a great job with a good pay check but don’t expect to retire on the stock options.
