Pros
Salary is competitive but that was really negotiated for me by a Sandia manager who wanted me there.
Cons
They are a temp service shell company for the labs for running 1 contract. There isn't any benefit to going staff aug over direct employment if there is any choice. Basically with this arrangement you have all the cons of working at Sandia, way fewer perks, less flexibility, and another layer of garbage management with AIS. I've never worked with an "Employer" (I use that term loosely, they are just a payroll and benefits outfit not really an employer despite their constant reminders) that cares so little about their cattle. There is no real flexibility and they really don't tell you much until you sign up and start. They are so cheap they won't pay you for mandatory orientation or any AIS required training. They make you pay for your own travel and might reimburse you if your paperwork is perfect eventually. Technically they do offer non paid time off, but found out right after hiring that "Corporate" was not allowing any.
