AER is a company that has one of the worst cultures in all of Alberta. It is a reflection of how the energy sector of Alberta operates. Keep promoting white people and creating positions just to promote incompetent white people and keep calling proficient and talented visible minorities to interviews just to show that you are being inclusive and promoting diversity, just to end up hiring white people every single time. Along with Senior Leadership, HR is involved in these malpractices and this corrupt and filthy game in AER. If you are a visible minority do not make the grave mistake of joining this company. The visible minorities who are currently in the company complain about the work culture on a daily basis behind closed doors and don't have a choice but to continue working in the company because they have a family and have mouths to feed. This company has a disgusting environment and please stay away at all costs. Read all reviews in GlassDoor given in 2025 and make the wise decision.
