Pros

At the AER, you can show up and accomplish nothing while receiving decent pay, excellent benefits vacation time, and a strong pension while you’re at it. There are requirements for days in office but no actual consequences for ignoring them. If you do go to the office, you can hit the gym, go to multiple coffee chats, take a long lunch, and round out your day with a bit of work if you have any time left. You can be a manager or director if you stay long enough. And you still won’t have to accomplish anything.

Cons

Competence is not recognized or rewarded

Pros

Overall good benefits and paid time off.

Cons

Incredibly unprofessional leadership without an understanding of how to effectively lead a team. Unethical behaviors and a hypocritical culture of being a people first oriented when they treat employees with disdain. I've worked in several other organizations and this is by far the worst environment I've been a part of.
