Pros
Genuinely nice people in the positions where all the work gets done. Willing to get jobs done under very short timelines and with very tight specifications. Very customer-focused.
Cons
New administration's solution to maintaining the bottom line in a contracting industry is to slash jobs for people making above a certain amount (they were already paying below industry average) and either stack their workload on somebody else or bring in a less experienced person at a lower salary. Folks are scared for their jobs on a daily basis as more and more people are shown the door...but so long as the partners can protect their six-figure salaries it doesn't matter who gets steamrolled. Used to be a very family-oriented company, now I wouldn't trust a single word they would say. No advancement opportunities whatsoever other than selling (at low commission rates).
