      Pros

      Great pay, great benefits. Alcon pays very well compared to other companies in the DFW metroplex. Their benefits are great and the company has great values as well.

      Cons

      Management/Leadership direction and attitudes. Work-life balance, recent direction. Management seems mostly tactical rather than strategic. Very conservative, unwilling to change to times. Employee satisfaction doesn't seem to be a priority.

      Stable company with people that want to make a difference. Great place to learn about manufacturing practices.

      Cons

      No clear job roles and the company tries to squeeze work out of lower level engineers.
