Pros
Very few. -Snacks -Colleagues (they work and give so much to Aldridge only to be let go)
Cons
-Failing business -No opportunity to grow your career *Aldridge is no longer in need of high tier technicians. They need lower level technicians so support vendor hosted environment. This is the business plan they strive to take, and that means moving away from high end projects and support. There will be more layoffs as they try to get to this goal. This wasn't the goal when I started, and it's heartbreaking to see this company start its plummet. -HR is NOT on your side. Your business will be spread across management, and then it will reach to others like a virus. Many times I would discuss an issue with HR to only hear it weeks later. The mid-upper management cannot keep their mouths quiet. -Various sexual harassment issues *Too many thing to label here. Many of my colleagues let me know of this issues. Even different managers took part in this. -Unethical to clients. There have been various times where Aldridge has overcharged clients, false time declared by employees, projects not completely finished, etc. Many times I overheard schemes to "sweep it under the rug" tactics. -Over-dependence on clients -Poor management *Although loyal, there is no manager at Aldridge I would consider a good manager. Nothing outstanding stands out here.
