Pros
I received incredible experience here with respect to project management on the civilian side of things.
There was absolutely no training, except safety training so essentially you learned on the fly whether that was good or bad...While stressful, it opened my eyes to how things are actually done.
Cons
the pay, they were paying APM nothing to run projects while the senior PM essentially signed off. 75-80k would have been worth it in a low cost of living state, but near the DC area this should have been over 100k to be able to survive. I was living in ghettos to do this job.
