Pros
The job is straightforward and manageable. Employees are not exploited, and you can leave the office precisely at 5 PM, which is acceptable to the management. Additionally, there are a sufficient number of employees, so you will not be overburdened and will only perform tasks assigned to you. Ad hoc work is rare.
Cons
The company offers very low salaries and benefits, with no guaranteed annual salary increases. Despite working there for three years, I have not experienced a raise. Additionally, there are numerous strict rules that create an authoritarian work environment. Examples include: 1. You are not allowed to walk around during office hours without being questioned by security. 2. Personal items are not permitted on your desk. 3. Bags must be kept inside a drawer, not on your chair or the floor. 4. Drinking beverages without a cover is prohibited. 5. Wearing vibrant-colored jackets is not allowed; only black, gray, or dark colors are acceptable. Furthermore, some long-tenured employees, particularly older ones, exhibit toxic behavior and an entitled attitude, resisting changes and maintaining conventional practices. The company has a high turnover rate, with many employees resigning within a week or month of being hired, likely due to the strict and controlling management. Although the CEO is personable and often delivers inspiring and encouraging messages, he fails to take action to improve employee conditions or provide competitive benefits. His actions do not align with his words.
