Pros
Working w/ more senior & experienced consultants on smaller teams with client partners who are key decision makers in the organization, make for a truly valuable experience on every engagement. Very rarely do we find ourselves on projects that aren't one of the top priorities for the management team.
Cons
Given the nature of our work (e.g. usually high urgency, priority, visibility, etc.), the stress level and demands can get pretty high. Work life balance can get interrupted more so than at other firms (in my experience). But this is what we signed up for.
