Pros
Okay so let's start with culture, you're an Alkamist not an employee. The guiding principles of the company are actually observed, and they're important. I hope you like food, because we have huge lunches every day (the new caterers aren't as good as the restaurants that used to, but its still free). Oh free sodas and snacks too. You're going to make friends, and we're going to stick with you. We are growing! You're joining a company that's headed up from the ground floor to the penthouse. You get some cool benefits, and they now match 401K contributions. Unlimited PTO is performance based, do a good job get as much time off as you need, don't and you'll find requests may get denied (I feel this is fair). Company parties are awesome, both departmental and company wide. Plus they like to give gifts. You will celebrate milestones, birthdays, anniversaries, and first Fridays. Your salary will be fairly matched against the industry, it won't be some glamorous Warran Buffet money but its good.
Cons
Yes releases can be bad, and yes people are right here about us introducing bugs. Guess what? Microsoft, Facebook, Google, and even Amazon have had bugs. Clients can be needy, which sometimes is made worse by their Account Exec. It's not the end of the world but its stressful. Inter-departmental communication needs help.
